Brevini's US headquarters includes a large warehouse and assembly area an extensive inventory of units and service parts to support the North American market. The facilities include 60,000 sq. ft. of offices, production and warehousing for the Brevini product lines.
Our company philosophy at Brevini USA has always been inspired by a few, simple ideas: Ruggedness, Compactness and Strength. These terms relate strongly to the gear units produced by our company since the 1960's. Starting from 3 inventive brothers, we have grown into one of the leading manufacturers of planetary and helical gears worldwide. We produce over 500 different epicyclic final drives used in many industries--from manufacturing to agriculture, transport to mining.
Locally our presence started in the 1970s from an agency arrangement to the established American company that it is today. From our head office in the Yorktown, Brevini USA covers the entire country through a network of sales engineers and an extensive network of both fluid power and power transmission distributors.
As part of our long-term commitment to US industry, local content has been increasing continually as a matter of policy. The manufacture of shafting, housings and the use of local supplies of bearings and fabrications is part of that commitment. Our philosophy is to build most gearboxes from stock in Yorktown providing a short delivery to the US market.
We specialize in application of planetary gearboxes with hydraulic and electric motors for low speed, high torque equipment. Our reducers are particularly suited to thickeners, agitators, mixer, feeder conveyors, inching, long travel and slewing drives.
Planetary gearing has the highest torque to weight ratio of any type. The gear units are robust, flexible in configuration and extremely simple to mount, service or modify. These features allow us to be one of the most economic means of producing torque. Besides being competitively priced, our gear units are able to meet the demands of the most sophisticated as well as the simplest power transmission systems.
